Zimek Disinfects Correctional Facilities…
In July of 2007 the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department purchased a Zimek [decontamination] system and began using the system in our jail inmate areas. The system can be set-up and operated by anyone with minimal training. The system has met all of our expectations and works as advertised. On September 27th while moving the system to another facility the touch screen and human interface module was damaged and had to be replaced. I called David Sparks on September 28th and he put in motion the ordering and shipment of the replacement module to our facility and set a date of October 12th for a service call to install the replacement unit. I called David back on Wednesday October 3rd and informed him that the Chief of Correction had set-up a meeting with Cook County Jail of Chicago to demonstrate the systems operation on the same day he had scheduled his service call. David adjusted his schedule and came in of Tuesday October 9th at 7:00 pm and replaced the touch screen and module, so we could do our demonstration as scheduled. I would like to thank David and The Zimek Company for the extra effort and professionalism on this issue. I would strongly recommend working with the Zimek Company to anyone who is interested purchasing a [Room and Vehicle Decontamination System] for their facility.

ZIMEK… Making Schools Safer
Thank you ZIMEK for helping to provide a safer, healthier environment for our school children.
Since treating our buildings with ZIMEK we’ve seen a marked decline in the number of child illnesses. In addition, NOT ONE teacher has been absent due to illness! Overall, we estimate that teacher and student absenteeism due to illness has declined by approximately 65% throughout the year.

Both buildings were treated while school was not in session and were ready for use the next day, with no preparation on our part.
