When Zimek's Micro-Mist® Generator (ROC-Healthcare, ROC-EMS, or ROC-Industrial) is connected to and used in conjunction with Zimek's Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator, the two components constitute Zimek's Touch-Free™ Rapid Decontamination System.  Zimek's Rapid Decontamination Systems achieve "Touch-Free™” decontamination because the Micro-Mist® applications they disperse are A-U-T-O-M-A-T-I-C. No operator is required during the automatic dispersion of the Micro-Mist®, or during the subsequent automatic removal of the Micro-Mist® by Zimek's Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator.

Zimek® has developed three distinct Touch-Free™ Rapid Decontamination Systems utilizing Zimek's patented Touch-Less™ Micro-Mist® technology:

ROC-EMS Micro-Mist System

The ROC-EMS Micro-Mist® Generator was engineered to automatically disperse a vaporous flurry of micro-droplets of Zimek preferred disinfectants and sanitizers called Micro-Mist® on hard non-porous surfaces as an adjunct to regular manual cleaning and disinfecting. It features an intuitive multi-language color touch screen user interface (as easy to use as an ATM machine), which can be switched from one language to another with the touch of a button. The ROC-EMS Micro-Mist® Generator includes a highly effective liquid spray applicator which permits the operator to manually clean and disinfect visible organic biohazards prior to the initiation of an automatic Micro-Mist® Application.

The Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator is a high-volume air filtration system which is designed to work in conjunction with the ROC-EMS Micro-Mist® Generator to permit the rapid reoccupation of a room or a vehicle.

ROC-Industrial Micro-Mist System

The ROC-Industrial Micro-Mist® Generator includes all of the user-friendly features of the ROC-EMS Micro-Mist® Generator with the addition of Zimek's Steri-Mist® Applicator, a micro-droplet dispersal gun which enables the operator to manually apply Zimek preferred disinfectants or sanitizers onto hard non-porous surfaces as an adjunct to regular manual cleaning and disinfecting.

The Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator works in conjunction with the ROC-Industrial Micro-Mist® Generator to permit the rapid reoccupation of a room or a vehicle.

ROC-Healthcare Micro-Mist System

The ROC-Healthcare Micro-Mist® Generator is specifically designed for use in healthcare facilites and is approximately 120 pounds lighter than ROC-EMS and ROC-Industrial Micro-Mist® Generators, yet generates the same amount of Micro-Mist® per application time period as earlier models. Similar to the ROC-EMS and ROC-Industrial Micro-Mist® Generators, this Micro-Mist® Generator also features a multi-language color touch screen user interface. Desired Micro-Mist® Application (room or vehicle, or both) can be customized with a touch of a button. The ROC-Healthcare Micro-Mist® Generator is smaller in size to accommodate mobility within a wide array of aircraft, but can also be used in all of Zimek's market segments including Fire/EMS and public transportation.

Zimek's new Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator is smaller and 50 pounds lighter than earlier Z-vac models and is an essential part of the ROC-Healthcare System to permit the rapid reoccupation of a room or a vehicle after completion of a Micro-Mist® Application.

Zimek‘s vehicle decontamination applicators can be used in conjunction with the ROC Micro-Mist® Generators to decontaminate the interior of any vehicle. These vehicle decontamination applicators can also be used in conjunction with the Z-vac® Vehicle Adapter to remove any remaining airborne Micro-Mist® droplets from the vehicle decontaminated with Micro-Mist®.
