December 12, 2008: Zimek Technology Introduced at Russian International Healthcare Exhibition
The Moscow convention generated an amazing interest in Zimek's proven decontamination technologies. The staff of Zimek's Russian distributor, Acamar, Ltd., demonstrated Zimek's ROC decontamination system to representative's of Russia's Ministry of Health and Moscow's Public Transportation Department. Russia's Ministry of Health has adapted a proactive approach to infection control and Zimek will be an integral component of this important healthcare initiative.
December 8, 2008: Zimek Visits Russia!
Zimek’s CEO, Kurt Grosman, and the President of Zimek Israel, Gil Nehamkin, will be in Moscow from December 8th-12th attending the 2008 Russian International Healthcare Exhibition. Kurt and Gil will be meeting with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development, as well as the Academy of Medical Services.
October 30, 2008: Zimek Arrives In The UK!
Zimek proudly announces that Healthcare Infection Technology, Limited ("HIT"), with main offices in Nottingham, England, has become Zimek's first healthcare distributor in Western Europe.
Zimek is pleased to welcome the founders and directors of HIT, Campbell Walters and Denis Mellon, to the Zimek Family.
Campbell has spent his career developing a very successful product distribution business acting as the UK distributor of many brands of products within the security and fire markets. Following the recent sale of his company, Campbell intends to operate a similar business model now in the healthcare infection technology market with Zimek being its first and leading product.
Denis has had a varied career, initially as a qualified accountant, and after gaining an MBA at one of Europe’s main business schools, Denis moved into managing large logistics and service operations and ultimately as managing director of a group of equipment companies in the fire market. Similar to Campbell, Denis has recently sold his shareholding in his business and is very excited to act as a distributor for Zimek.
October 17, 2008: Zimek Arrives In Canada!
Zimek is pleased to announce that Optimum Sciences, Inc. (“OSI”) has become Zimek’s first distributor in Canada, with principal offices located in Ontario. We want to take this opportunity to welcome the founder of OSI, Paul Couture, to the Zimek family.
OSI is a newly-formed subsidiary of Paul's Invitro Sciences, Inc. Invitro Sciences began providing products and services to the forensic and law enforcement markets in Canada in October of 1999. Paul has many years of experience in the sales and marketing of specialty products and services in the healthcare and life science research markets. OSI will begin representing Zimek in Canada immediately, and will be demonstrating Zimek's Decontamination System at the Ontario Hospital Association, “Health Achieve” conference in Toronto from November 3rd through 5th. July 7, 2008: Zimek Arrives In The Caribbean!
Zimek proudly announces that Technical Industrial Sales, Inc. (“TIS”) has become Zimek’s distributor in the Caribbean, with principal offices in Puerto Rico. The CEO of TIS, Eduardo Varón, will also spearhead the distribution of Zimek’s Room and Vehicle Decontamination Systems and related Zimek products in Central and South America. Before the end of 2008, TIS will be offering Zimek’s Decontamination Services to commercial and governmental markets in Puerto Rico. May 1, 2008: Zimek Israel Opens for Business.
Zimek is proud to announce that Zimek Israel commenced operations on May 1, 2008. Zimek Israel’s CEO, Gil Nehamkin, will spearhead the sales and distribution of Zimek’s Decontamination Systems and disinfectant products throughout Israel from principal offices located in Haifa in Northern Israel.
Zimek Israel will focus on sales to customers in the healthcare facilities, EMS vehicles, military, and law enforcement markets. Zimek Israel’s Decontamination Services Division will immediately begin offering Zimek’s Dri-Mist® Decontamination Treatments to schools, office complexes, and residences to decontaminate such environments from infectious bacteria, viruses, and toxic mold. April 20, 2008: Zimek Systems Now Being Used by Customers in France and Spain.
Since achieving CE compliance in Europe, Zimek has sold its Decontamination Systems to customers in France and Spain.
Zimek has initiated an aggressive expansion program throughout the European Union for sales of Zimek ’s Decontamination Systems in Europe, including initiation of Zimek’s Decontamination Services business model throughout the European marketplace.
April 11, 2008: U.S. Department of Homeland Security Utilizing Zimek’s Decontamination Systems.
Zimek is proud to announce that Zimek’s Decontamination Systems are being used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) purchased pursuant to a sole source contract with Zimek. Zimek pledges to continue providing its revolutionary Dri-Mist® Decontamination Systems to the DHS as requested to protect the health and safety of the DHS employees and the citizens of the United States.
March 28, 2008: Zimek’s Decontamination Systems Comply with European “CE” Directive.
Today Zimek achieved conformity with relevant European Directives confirming that Zimek’s Decontamination Systems satisfy essential health and safety requirements established by the European Union. In the future, all Zimek’s Decontamination Systems will bear the “CE” markings. Zimek’s CE compliance was not achieved through self-certification, but rather by an independent certification firm after extensive testing of both Zimek’s Dri-Mist® Micro-Particle Generator and Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator.
February 11, 2008: Product Training at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, Liverpool, England.
Today Zimek’s engineering technicians, accompanied by CEO Kurt Grosman, concluded a two day symposium on infectious disease control and decontamination issues confronting fire and rescue workers throughout the United Kingdom.
The symposium was hosted by the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority (the “Authority”) in Liverpool, England. Zimek’s technicians also trained Officer Gary Oakford of the Authority to use Zimek’s Decontamination System as part of the Authority’s initiative to identify and test effective infectious disease control and decontamination products.

January 22, 2008: Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service to Test Zimek’s Decontamination System in Liverpool, England.
Today Zimek shipped one of its new 2008 Dri-Mist® Decontamination Systems to Liverpool, England for testing to be conducted by the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (the “Authority”). The Authority’s proactive community protection initiatives, established by Chief Tony McGuirk, include optimizing new and effective health and safety products to protect the citizens of Merseyside. Additional testing will be performed by the United Kingdom’s Health and Safety Laboratory under the directive of the Authority. Zimek is honored to work with the Authority to demonstrate the efficacy of Zimek’s Decontamination System and work with the Authority to introduce Zimek’s products into numerous health and safety markets throughout the United Kingdom.
